28: I Don’t have friends, I have employees

Frost/Nixon and Elvis & Nixon: Celebrities interview Richard Nixon and attempt to give him seemingly bizarre presents.

127 Hours with a Film Kid: This week Lindsey slowly descends into madness as we cover Showergate and the weird discourse that’s sprung up about celebrities’ shower opinions.

Frost/Nixon: We get upset at the humanization of Nixon while also critiquing a man for being upset that he’s bad at his job. Plus, the worst way to answer the phone, no matter the context.

Elvis & Nixon: Brooke and Lindsey break down a surprisingly sane film with the most unhinged factual premise. Topics include: the security priorities of the White House, Brooke’s version of the Michael Keaton and J.K. Simmons confusion, and the suspicious antics of Elvis – who is too adamant that he’s anti-drug to be anti-drug.

Film Kid Giant Squids is produced and hosted by Lindsey Buttel and Brooke Hoppe. Intro music is by the band Poly Action.  Licensed under CC BY 3.0
